To know God and to make Him known.
How to get involved
God invites us to find our ultimate rest in Him, and He wants nothing less than the restoration of all mankind, beginning with the human heart. At Grace Memorial Church, we aim to commit ourselves to this joyful and substantive work, that we might become a gospel-shaped community for the sake of the Fredericksburg area and the world to the glory of God.
We meet regularly for Sunday School at 9:30 and Worship at 10:45. We sing, pray, share, read, and learn about God's Word together. The best way to find out more about who we are is to come and visit. Feel free also to contact our pastor by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone, (540) 898-5471. All are welcome to join us for study and worship on Sundays.
Our Church is located at 1600 Stafford Ave. in Fredericksburg. We are two blocks off of Route 1 (behind the Bus Station).
On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate communion and on the last Sunday, we gather as a community for a potluck brunch after church.
Childcare is available in our Nursery and a children's church time is offered during a portion of the service to ensure that our younger disciples have a chance to grow and learn in age appropriate ways.
About Grace Memorial Church
We are an independent church affiliated with the Evangelical Free Churches of America. Founded in 1963, Grace Memorial Church strives to encourage followers of Jesus Christ in their lives and to reach out to those who are earnestly seeking the Truth.
We joined the EFCA in 1994 and are part of the Eastern Region.
Our church is pastored by Rev. Harlan E. White, who has served here since 1981. Pastor White earned his Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary.
We encourage all of our regular attendees who have accepted Jesus as their Savior to become members of our church.

Who? Grace Memorial is a part of the Evangelical Free Church of America, an association of self-governing congregations. We are Bible-believing and Elder-led.
What? Our services are organized but informal. Worship is enhanced by our Praise Team, which leads us in a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs. We encourage prayer requests and words of praise during weekly "Praise & Prayer" time. The pastor delivers Bible-centered messages with practical applications.
Where? Our building is located in the College Heights area of Fredericksburg, Virginia, near the University of Mary Washington, just behind the bus station, at 1600 Stafford Avenue.
When? Sunday at 9:30 a.m. we have Christian Education classes for all ages. Sunday at 10:45 a.m. is our Worship service. A secure nursery and Junior Church are provided for the children. Between Sunday School and our Worship service we get together for
coffee -- a "Cup of Grace."
